BSJ #2

Today I sewed the buttons on my second Baby Surprise Jacket.

I was surprised at how much faster this sweater went, I finished it in about half the knitting time. I enjoy making this pattern- I don't mind the counting as much as I thought I would and don't get tired of just doing knit stitches because I don't have to think very hard about what my fingers are supposed to be doing. I do wish the sleeves were longer, but it is nice that they stay out of the baby's way.

(Blogger thinks my photo looks better this way and I can't figure out how to rotate it...)

I had finished knitting several weeks ago, but wanted to wait until my knitting instructor friend could give me some tips on how to correctly seam up the shoulder. It does look neater than my first BSJ.
This sweater was made for a friend of my sister-in-law. I am already tempted to start another and am trying to think of who we might know that would fit this size!

I knit this with size 8 needles and again used Encore yarn (75% acrylic, 25% wool).
